The new Macbook Pro lineup includes thunderbolt technology, which allows for bidirectional transfer rates reaching up to 10 gigs a second! This is 12 times faster than firewire, and 20 times faster than regular USB 2.0. Also, it is twice as fast as USB 3.0 technology. The thunderbolt technology is similar to firewire, allowing for daisy chaining of up to seven separate devices. You can also connect displays and peripherals via the thunderbolt port, giving an all in one data and display port.   USB technology RAM macbook hd technology apple topics
